Kat Payne Ware reviews Unibox

I received my Unibox in the last week of the spring term. It was fun to get something in the post, especially at the time of year when students are just hanging on until the Easter break. The box was packed up beautifully and included a cute handwritten note which made it more personal.

There were 8 items inside. The Help Me Organics sleep spray was my favourite, and has been great for my insomnia, excellently counterbalanced by the reviving Sebamed grapefruit shower gel; only a little squeeze made me smell amazing. The Yuyo mint Yerba Mate drink was a convincing tea replacement after my shower. Three items were edible. The Creative Nature raw goji flapjack was yummy. I have recently turned vegan so the other two items were reluctantly given to housemates. The final two items were stationery.

Any parents looking to send their student offspring a gift in the post could order one of these with confidence, subject to checking any dietary restrictions are catered for. As a second year undergraduate I would suggest a box would be particularly welcome when assignments are due, during exam season, or to mitigate a first year’s homesickness.
