Happy 10th Anniversary to The Breastfeeding Festival!

Welcome to the 10th Annual Breastfeeding Festival! Yes, 10 years! It all started in Ulverston in Cumbria in 2010, with the aim of celebrating and promoting breastfeeding, and to see breastfeeding rates and duration go up. It travelled across the North, and was in Manchester in 2015 when Jaime, Ros, and J’Nel first experienced the positive, welcoming atmosphere of the event. They felt compelled to bring it south of the Watford Gap, to Milton Keynes. It took a few years, but, when the time was right and the team of volunteers were there, the first Milton Keynes Breastfeeding Festival began to take shape. We are pleased to finally see it happening!

The Breastfeeding Festival celebrates breastfeeding and all its many facets; exploring issues relevant to breastfeeding parents and to those looking to support parents. It applauds breastfeeding of any type or duration, recognising that it is not easy in our formula feeding dominated culture. The Festival will unite parents, health professionals and breastfeeding professionals, gathered over a common passion of supporting parents with feeding their babies. The event boasts fun for children and adults, while also focusing on educating our audience via our incredible line up of speakers.
