Write for Juno Magazine
We are happy to consider all submissions and if we publish your article you will receive two copies of the magazine in which your article appears and a free 6 issue subscription to the magazine.
Writer's Guidelines
Autumn issue (deadline 7th May) - Grandparents and grandchildren. We invite you to share your memories and to talk about what you learned from these special people.
Winter issue (deadline 7th August) - Books, quotes, relationships and people that changed your life.
- Please submit articles by e-mail to reach us by the appropriate deadline.
- Please include biographical information at the end of the article as you wish it to appear in the magazine (two or three sentences).
- Please let us have your address so we can send you two copies of the magazine.
- Suggested article length either 850 words or 1300-1600 words.
- If you have any images to accompany the piece, please enclose them. You can e-mail images as hi resolution tiffs or jpgs, alternatively you can post hard copies (please include an SAE if you would like them returned).
- Please include references and further reading where appropriate. For books we need to know the title, author, publisher and price (or 'out of print' if it is no longer available).
- Personal anecdotes and illustrations are welcome.
- We do not accept articles that are written in an advertorial style and we reserve the right to reject articles. Whilst we are keen to celebrate difference we also need to make sure that articles reflect the aims and values of the magazine and that the contents of each issue is balanced.
- We receive lots of articles and so it may sometimes be necessary to keep articles on hold articles for the following issue.
- We reserve the right to edit articles - please let us know if you wish to see the edited version before we go to print.
- We publish articles that have not been published before anywhere.
- We welcome contributions from all ages.
Please submit your article to editor@junomagazine.com as an attachment. Please do not send zipped files or images that are bigger than 10mb.
