Matthew: gave the bike a test run in wonderful evening sunshine. Cycled around the village and timed the school run – did it in 9 and a half minutes. Best bit – the children giggling and enjoying every minute, they loved going fast. Worst bit, getting a face full of flies. Really enjoyed riding the bike.
Saffia: I am not a confident biker so felt nervous taking off – I trialled it first without the children as was anxious about balance. The bike is big and heavy. We’ve realised the seat was a bit high for me so am going to try again tomorrow with it lower. Currently feeling VERY nervous about going out on the road with the children.
